Hey everyone!
Today I am writing about a mod that my friend and I started. It's called Dreamshift.
It looks super interesting! The premise is basically that it is a slow-paced horror mod, with a dreamcore aesthetic.
Dreamcore is sort of surrealist liminal horror, and that is some of my favorite kind of horror to experience. Not super crazy fake feeling jumpscares, but a strong
sense of uneasyness, nostalgia, loneliness, it's such a weird mix of emotions that's hard to describe sometimes xP.
Ok but onto the mod--so my friend and I started today; we haven't actually had any "horror" encounters at all yet, or slipped out into any dimensions
haha, but I bet it'll happen soon! It's slow paced after all, and I looked into the debug menu and it said it was all working properly and all that.
Anyways, if you have Java minecraft, I think I can reccomend the mod so far! Be prepared for a slower pace, but from everything I've seen, (which isn't
much since I've been trying to keep it spoiler free for myself,) then I can say it'll probably be pretty good.
